Crown's  history goes all the way back to 1777 in Darwen, Lancashire where the company has remained to this day. By the late 1800's they were producing wallpaper for brands such as Lincrusta  and Anaglypta. In 1906 introduced their first paint range ... 'Hollins Distemper'. In 1949 granted their first Royal Warrant. 1966 saw the first paint range under the 'Crown' brand name. In the early 1970's introduced the markets first 'One Coat Paint' ... Crown Solo.   2001 saw the launch of 'Breatheasy' ... a 99% solvent free emulsion in hundreds of beautiful colours and this remains Crown's signature range to this day.

Tropical Ocean works best when light, fresh and airy is the order of the day. The nautical look is completed by painting woodwork white and blue; and adding touches of sand via the fabrics and light wooden furniture.

English Fire is a strong, warm red colour, which really gives a room a sense of comfort – but with just a touch of added excitement!  It’s absolutely perfect for those with bold tastes.

Grey is likely to be on trend for a while yet. And here City Breakprovides a sleek and contemporary base with which to accentuate a brighter colour, such as Dance Fever. Matching lighter and darker grey tones keeps things interesting.

Cover Story screams decadence, luxury and grandeur, especially when paired with the dark oak bannister and the metallic silver and gold accessories that complete the look here.

Contrasting colours Mustard Jar and Granite Dust have been used here to create an intriguing feature in what could otherwise be a bland, boxy room, an eclectic array of accessories finishes off this look.

Clean lines between the lively Shocking Pink and the crisp Canvas White paints are key to this very feminine look which is finished by mixing different materials, such as leather, wood and fabrics all in an eye-catching bright white.
