Sadolin CLASSIC

Offering a truly versatile woodstain solution, Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain can be used on a wide variety of wooden surfaces, both interior and exterior.  That’s why it’s at the core of our range.  Whether it’s used alone or alongside another product, it provides an exceptional finish, each and every time.

Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain absorbs deeply into the timber to provide exceptional protection against the weather. It is particularly effective used on it’s own on large areas of timber such as decking, fencing, cladding, and garden furniture.  It is also the perfect basecoat for new doors and windows, which can then be overcoated with Sadolin Extra, Sadolin Clearcoat, Sadolin Yacht Varnish or Sadolin Outdoor Varnish.

Alternatively use Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain to add colour to interior wood, followed by a protective topcoat of Sadolin Polyurethane Varnish or Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish.

Available in a choice of over 50 shades including tintable colours.

Not suitable to use on surfaces previously coated with a medium/high build coating. 

Recommended Uses

On its own' ..... decking, fencing, cladding, sheds, facia, garden funiture & garden buildings.

Sadolin EXTRA

Sadolin Extra is a durable woodstain for all softwood and hardwood apart from decking or areas subject to heavy wear/abrasion. It is particularly suitable for joinery such as doors and windows, where its flexible nature and water repellancy provide long lasting protection. For optimum durability on new wood, the use of Sadolin Classic as a base coat is recommended, particularly when treating hardwoods.

Recommended Uses

Finishing or maintenance coat for exterior joinery, ie. windows, doors and conservatories.
